In celebration of Cybersecurity Career Awareness Week, Cybersecurity Youth Apprenticeship Initiative (CYAI) will be hosting the Decoding Apprenticeship in Cybersecurity: How to Establish and Sustain Your Cyber Workforce Webinar. There is a need to protect data in all industries. It is cybersecurity experts who safeguard your financial, health and other important records.  Yet, according to Cyberseek, there are more than 500,000 unfilled cybersecurity jobs in the United States.

Registered apprenticeship for youth is a viable employment solution to address this existing workforce gap. During this webinar, participants will understand why cybersecurity is critical for every industry and explore the depths of a career in cybersecurity. Speakers will explore how to fund a registered apprenticeship program, discuss the return of investment on a registered apprenticeship in cybersecurity, and share unique ways to engage employers. Attendees will also learn about CYAI program efforts and opportunities for partnership.
